2013 - Teddy’s hand at Teddy’s Juke Joint , Zachary, LA
A visit to Teddy's Juke Joint is like stepping into the past. It's like walking back into 1979, when Teddy's was established. Once a little shotgun house where Teddy was born, it has been described as an "Authentic Louisiana Juke Joint". It was turned into a blues club by Teddy and Nancy. On the walls you'll find old photographs, bar signs, license plates, and relics from the past. Teddy is a "Slim Harpo Ambassador" recipient of the Baton Rouge Blues Foundation and other notable recognitions by local and worldwide publications.
Teddy sits behind his throne of music spinning the best of rhythm and blues, and "Nancy's Kitchen" is always open for some of good southern soul food.
